Persian Gulf Battle II: Iranian animated film shows war with U.S.A – Daily Mail

Animation Battle of the Persian Gulf II imagines a response to an American attack on the country’s nuclear program. Director Farhad Azima said it is a response to anti-Iranian films in the U.S.The film cost £250,000 to make and is a sequel to a film about the Iraq-Iran war. In the film, a character who closely resembles General Qassem Soleimani, head of Iran’s elite Quds Force, leads a single vessel against more than a dozen American warships.
