Four years have passed since the first game in Square Enix’s remake of Final Fantasy 7 first arrived on PS4, and this month, the saga continues in Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth. While the original Final Fantasy 7 had no voice acting when it was first released, Final Fantasy 7 Remake assembled a talented group of actors for its voice cast, and they’ve all returned for the sequel.
This wasn’t the first time that a game starring Final Fantasy 7 characters had voices attached to their faces–see Kingdom Hearts and Crisis Core for great examples here–but with Remake, Square Enix essentially pressed the reset key and recast the entire roster. The actors who helped bring Cloud, Tifa, and the rest of the cast to life have since gone on to expand their resume of work with even more acting credits, and we’ve rounded up the biggest names below.
Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth launches for PS5 on February 29, but if you want to play it right now, a demo is available. For a closer look at what to expect from this ambitious sequel, you can check out GameSpot’s feature on how Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth is so much bigger than Remake.
